A guitar amp in a live house is like a rental car.
I'm going to play an old one anyway.
Turn the steering wheel, the shaking engine, and run.
The day after you go to a crazy show, your neck will be sore. It's an after-effect. I can't even hear you speak because the venue is too loud, but I know what you're trying to tell me. I'll have lunch with you tomorrow.

On the way home in the rain, my memory is a blur. A strange town we stopped in. I make an invisible mark on my footprints. It continues to have meaning, a signal to take my place.

A map on a shiny screen. I adjusted the glare, the LEDs, what's up hommies? I wondered how my distant friends were doing.
